The primary purpose of the programme is to prepare graduate nursing personel, who can take up the responsibility in the primary, secondary and tertiary care of patients as professional nurses.
It is expected that graduates are capable of teaching and supervising appropriate Nursing and Health care in different settings and participate in the administration of Nursing Service Education
Minimum qualification for admission :
• A candidate should have passed in the subjects of PCB and english individually and must
have obtained minimum of 45% marks taken togather in PCB in qualified examinition i,e
(10+2).
• Further, the candidates belonging to constitution reservtion, the marks obtained in PCB
taken togther in qualifing examination be 40% instead of 45%.
• English is compulisery subject in 10+2 for being eligible for admission to B.sc (N) OR as
prescribedthe Indian Nursing Councile fron time to time.
• Any other qualification approved by the INC
